Of course all social value systems are important — the starting principles themselves start from what is globally generally accepted. What I mean is that if there is a conflicting view, the preference will be to chose what someone with typical Western values would tend to chose. For example, the social scoring system of China, which may be used to oppress people, is incompatible with Western values.
